Favorite Bites: Iggy’s Bread of the World Comes to the Atmark
What’s better than enjoying a selection of Iggy’s famous bakery goods? How about waking up to Iggy’s famous bakery goods on your doorstep?
Located just down the street, Iggy’s Bread of the World is already nearly on our doorstep. But indulging in fresh, crusty organic deliciousness from Cambridge’s best-known bread shop is even easier since Iggy’s began sponsoring the Atmark’s Saturday morning breakfasts.
If you don’t already know Iggy’s, let us introduce you. The bakery was founded in 1994 by Igor Ivanovic and his wife Ludmilla, who launched their enterprise with a commitment to using local, organic and all-natural ingredients. With years of experience between them, they both brought the patience and dedication to make naturally leavened, hearth-baked bread that rises just right, every time.
But Iggy’s fiercely loyal customers will attest that the product is much more than that. As one fan put it to the Improper Bostonian, Iggy’s is made with “good feeling and good energy which shows in the bread.” Every bite satisfies, from rich dark rye to crusty francaise, flaky croissants to chewy bagels.
We just started the partnership in January and everyone at the Atmark is thrilled about it. Some folks stop in the game room after our Saturday yoga class to grab a bite, while others sneak down in their pajamas and head back to their apartment to enjoy a treat with their coffee. If we haven’t seen you there yet, come by this weekend!
